Pro Ear does onsite audiometry (hearing) testing of employees to assist in protecting your worker’s hearing and to ensure legal compliance of your company.
Did you know? Hearing testing in the work environment is a requirement of The Noise-Induced Hearing Loss Regulations promulgated in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 85 of 1993 that is governed by the Department of Labour.

MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE
Our aim is to limit the loss in production time when workers have to report for medical surveillance and to conduct accurate, valid onsite hearing testing of employees. Our staff are thoroughly trained and registered at SASOHN as well as experienced in all aspects of testing and otoscopic examination. Testing can be done wherever needed and we can cater for shift workers by performing after hour testing.

REPORTS
We offer training programs for employees and management regarding Noise-Induced Hearing Loss. Our programming emphasizes the development and maintenance of hearing conservation in the workplace. We have excellent training sessions presented by seasoned staff with over 30 years of experience.
Our detailed reports will not leave you wondering if and what is required next. We will guide you properly and assist where required. To prove the validity of testing, our reports include all relevant documents that should by law be kept by the employer for a period of 40 years.
OUR EQUIPMENT
We use specialized equipment of the best quality to ensure accurate and valid results. Our audiometers are calibrated onsite and our testing environments are certified compliant to the South African National Standards by a calibration authority. These distinct measures paired with over 20 years of experience allows for cost-effective tariffs without having to compromise on our quality of service.
